Answers before you buy
Who is Microsoft 365 Personal for?
Personal covers one Microsoft account with premium Office apps and 1 TB OneDrive, subject to Microsoft's terms. To share with several people on separate accounts, consider Microsoft 365 Family.
Can I use Personal on more than one device?
Yes, within the limits of the Microsoft plan: install the apps on supported PCs, Macs, tablets and smartphones signed in with your account, as described in Microsoft's documentation.
Can I use this code to renew a Microsoft 365 subscription that is already active?
Yes. The code is redeemed on setup.office.com with your Microsoft account and works both to activate Microsoft 365 Personal from scratch and to renew or extend a subscription already on the same account.
If Microsoft 365 Personal is already active on the account, the 12 months are added to the current expiry date. If a different plan is active (for example Family) or automatic renewal is set, at redemption Microsoft may ask you how to apply it — extending the term, starting a new period, or switching plan — according to its rules.
Choose the account carefully: the licence stays tied to the one used at redemption.
Is this a subscription or a one-time purchase?
It is a subscription with annual renewal (12 months purchased on this page). Duration, renewal, and renewal price depend on Microsoft and the terms shown at checkout.
Can I use Office apps offline?
Yes: with the desktop apps installed you can work offline; however, periodic internet connection and sign-in are required for licence verification, updates, and cloud services such as OneDrive.
